Bernice Louise Robison

January 6, 1936 — October 12, 2020

ROBISON, Bernice Louise age 84 of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 12, 2020. She was born on January 6, 1936 to the late Odell Gordon and Bernice Barbara (Geiselbreth) Prince in Gainesville, Florida. In addition to her parents, Bernice is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Robison; a granddaughter, Jill Marie and her brother, Odell G. (Janice) Prince II. She leaves behind four children to cherish her memory: Kim (Rill) Thompson, Susan (Joe) Wells, Darrin (Monica) Harshman, Amy (Todd) Bard; grandchildren: Randi (Trevor) Whalen, Kathy (Dan Levalley) Rose, Amber (Zach) Farkas, Rill (Dempsey Rupe) Thompson, Grayson Ritch, Logan Ritch, Landon Ritch, Ridge Wells, Tyler Harshman, Bailey Harshman, Emma Harshman, Wesley Bard, and Jenna Bard as well at 10 great-grandchildren. Bernice is also survived by her siblings: Jim (Jean) Sands, Don (Carol) Sands, John (Dawn Vondracek) Sands, and Sandy (John) Maurice and her dear friend, Barb Perry who was her roommate at Forest Glen Health Campus. Bernice was a past member of Calvary Baptist Church and more recently very active at First Christian Church. She greatly enjoyed volunteering for GSOC. Bernice enjoyed crocheting, coloring and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren through the years. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Masks and social distance will be enforced. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Forest Glen in Bernice's honor. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
