Chad Barnett

Chad Barnett, age 58, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was born on October 25, 1963, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Lloyd E. and Hazel (Hamilton) Barnett. Chad is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Hazel; beloved wife of almost 7 years, Mary Lou (Gates) Barnett; children, Jennifer Barnett, Christie (Greg) D'Aloiso and Nikki (Bryant) Weber; step-daughter, Michelle Brown; grandchildren, Tristan Thompson, Adrian Barnett, Lanna D'Aloiso, Remi D'Aloiso, Kenzie Weber, Jonah Weber, Ricky Johnson, Blake Reed and Jaxson Reed; siblings, Mikel (Kathy) Barnett, Sharon Maynard, Tina (Bruce) Duerstine and Scott Barnett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pat Engle, Barbara (Jim) Kennedy, Jo Ann Harris, Freda (Ted) Hurley, John (Dawn) Gates, Peggy (Rodney) Dennin and Betty May; and several nieces and nephews. Chad was a member at the First Baptist Church of Lower Valley Pike and was the owner of Barnett's Heating and Air. He was always happy and lived life to it's fullest. Chad was a dependable man who was always there to lend a helping hand and when he would leave, he always said, "glad you got to see me". His larger than life personality would light up any room and the expression that he lived by and always had fun with was "I'm never going to grow up". His bright smile and contagious laugh will forever be cherished in the memories of those he knew. Viewing will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 5-7p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center with service on Tuesday, May 3 at 11a.m. also at the funeral home with Pastor Dale Stumbo officiating.
