Darryl Duane Gomer

Darryl Duane Gomer, age 69, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2021. He was born on September 19, 1952, in Springfield, the son of Charles Gomer and Nellie (Washburn). Darryl is preceded in death by his wife, Emma (Humphrey) Gomer; his father; uncle, Don Washburn; aunts, Francine and Shirley Washburn; and numerous other extended family members. He is survived by his loving mother, Nellie Gardner; brother, Tracey (Jill) Lee; niece, Lindsey Lee; cousin, Kelli Howard and her daughters, Bryana and Sierra; cousin, Brett Washburn and his daughter, Alyssa; cousin, Wendy Ford and her children, Lindsay and Tyler; and numerous other family members. Darryl graduated with his associates degree from Clark State Community College and previously worked at Tetra Mold and Tool Inc. There will be no services at this time.
