David Lee Pritt

David Lee Pritt, 76, of Brookville, formerly of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2019. David was born on April 30, 1943, in Grafton, West Virginia, the son of the late Raymond and Ella Mae (Shingleton) Pritt. David is survived by his beloved wife, Pam (Staccia) Pritt; children, Delores Herring of Georgia and Craig (Ruth) Pritt of Springfield; grandchildren, William (Nikki) Cockrell Jr. of Florida, Greg (Nikki) Kaup of Springfield and Kelly Cole of South Charleston; great- grandchildren, Mackenzie Jo Lee Cockrell, Makenna Cole, Jamie Cockrell, Hunter Kaup and Avery Kaup; brothers, Gary (Cathy) Pritt of Colorado and John Davenport; brother-in-law and caretaker, Rick Staccia; brother-in-law, Tony (Dana) Staccia; mother-in-law, JoAnn Cleelan; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Ann Pritt. A very special thank you to his niece, Missy Davenport for the comfort and support she provided during his time of need in addition to his nephew, Johnny Davenport. David was a Deputy Sheriff in Springfield for several years and later retired as a supervisor for Knight Construction.
