Helen B. Blumenstock

October 3, 1941 — February 23, 2023

Helen B. Blumenstock, age 81, of Cedarville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 3, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late William H. and Georgina (Dean) Ehrhardt.

She married the love of her life, Richard Blumenstock on June 16, 1962 and they shared 61 beautiful years together. Helen’s passion for people was driven by her love for her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a caring listener, an active worker in the church, an encourager of the saints, and a gracious host. The desire of her life was not for applause, or the accumulation of things, it was to bring the joy of Jesus to those who came into her life. She served as a teacher, pianist, counselor, and mentor of young girls, but most of all as a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Janet (Thomas) Clarke, Richard Timothy (Michele) Blumenstock and James (Karen) Blumenstock; grandchildren, Ashley Clarke, Tyler (Heather) Clarke, Bradley (Brittany) Clarke, Kailey Clarke, Lauren (Noah) Schneider, Nate Blumenstock and Ella Blumenstock; great-grandchildren, Eli, Rowan and Louie Clark; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert (Sue) Blumenstock. She is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Ehrhardt.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville where a celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at 10a.m. Burial will follow at North Cemetery.
