Jackie Davis

DAVIS, Jack L. "Hog Head" age 84 of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 18, 1939 in New Castle, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Betty (Jones) Davis. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia "Patty" Mahaley. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda (Oglesbee) Davis; children: Ann Adkins and Steven (Cathy) Davis; grandchildren: Amanda (Brice) Ferryman, Tina Davis, and Hannah Davis; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Riley and Cole Ferryman as well as his brother, Johnny (Nell) Jones. Jack was a dedicated employee for over 30 years before retiring from International Harvester. He was a member of the Union Club and the UAW Local 402. Jack enjoyed traveling with his family, spending his winters in Florida with Linda, fishing and Ohio State University sports.
