Linda Lee Hunt

Linda Lee Hunt, 51, of Springfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was born on February 5, 1969, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Yvonne (Hostetter) Cardosi. Linda is preceded in death by her father and a very special aunt, Terry Harper. She is survived by her mother; her loving husband, David Hunt; 2 daughters whom she cherished, Cheyenne (Michael) Lemmings and Chelsey Grimm; step-daughter, Holly Rhyne; the light of her eyes, her grandchildren, Mikayla Grimm, AvaLynn Williams, Justin Williams, Emrie Williams and Maverick Rhyne; brother, Larry Cardosi; sister, Tammy Cardosi; and father of her daughters and good friend, John Grimm. Linda battled cancer for 3 years and she never gave up. She was a strong and determined woman who fought everyday to be here for her family and friends and every minute she was able to spend with them will forever be cherished. Linda was passionate about life and had a heart of gold. She only saw the good in people and everyone who met her adored her. She was an avid lover to all animals but the one thing that made her light up the most was her grandchildren. Linda’s legacy of living life to the fullest, smiling through the hard times and appreciating every day you’re blessed with will continue on through the many people who knew her.
