Preston Eugene Jackson, age 16, of New Carlisle, tragically passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022. He was born on July 5, 2005, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Amy Kay (Hall) Owens and Joshua Chad Jackson. Preston is survived by his mother and step-father, Amy and William Owens; father, Joshua Jackson; brother, Landan Jennings; step-brother, Kody Owens; grandmothers, Linda Hall and Janice Jackson; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Potts, Robert Potts, Melody O’Neal and Larry O’Neal; nephew, Kayson Owens; 2nd cousin, David Hall; numerous cousins; and best friends, Cameron Wright and Timmy Monroe. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry Hall and Ronnie Jackson. Preston worked at Subway in Park Lane and everyone who met him spoke of how kind and sweet he was. When he was younger, he enjoyed drawing and playing video games, being involved in ghost hunts and most of all, he loved to go fishing. Preston currently attended Tecumseh High School and had just finished his junior year. His family was always most important to him and his love for them had shown through all he did. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 5-7p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. Condolences may be expressed to his family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
