Robert F. "Bob" Severt

SEVERT, Robert F. "Bob" age 77 of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born the son of Dennis F. and Dorothy (Sonner) Severt on May 18, 1943 in Springfield. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis G. Severt, Clarence W. Severt and Ernest M. Severt. He is survived by his children: Robert M. Severt, Robin M. (Jill Stapleton) Severt, and Christopher L. (Darla Craycraft) Severt; grandchildren: Kristen and Mathew Severt; a brother, Edmund E. Severt; a sister, Marilyn S. (John, "Jack") Sheppard; sister-in-law, Jerilynn Severt as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob was a 1961 graduate of Southeastern Schools and enjoyed hunting, golfing and fishing. He retired from both Teledyne Ohio Cast and Navistar. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Ingling Williams & Lewis Funeral Home, South Charleston from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with his funeral immediately following.
