Rose Marie Clemans

CLEMANS, Rose Marie age 99 of London, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Bluebird Retirement Community. She was born on September 4, 1922 in Jamestown, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Patrick and Catherine Marie (Garner) Sheridan. In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Patrick Daugherty; second husband, Arthur Clifford Clemans; son, John Edward Daugherty; daughter, Joan Clemans; step-son, Arthur Steven Clemans as well as her siblings: Robert Sheridan, Lawrence Sheridan, Leo Sheridan, and Margaret Ann Barmann. Rose is survived by her loving son, Dennis (Yvonne) Daugherty; step-daughter, Carol (Russell) Seaburn; grandchildren: Kevin Daugherty, Lisa (Paula) Daugherty, Patrick (Jennifer) Daugherty, Steven (Laura) Clemans, and Corey (Lori) Clemans and numerous great-grandchildren. Rose was a nurse for Dr. Hugh W. Payton in Jeffersonville for over thirty years before retirement. She deeply enjoyed her flower gardens and spending time with her family. Rose was a devoted member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church before her age made it difficult to attend. She was also involved in the CLC- the Catholic Ladies of Columbia through the church. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at INGLING WILLIAMS & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, South Charleston. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at ST CHARLES BORROMEO CATHOLIC CHURCH at 2:00 p.m. Rose will be laid to rest at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
