Shawn E. Burdette

BURDETTE, Shawn age 65 of Springfield passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Springfield Regional Medical Center She was born on May 8, 1956, the daughter of Charles Burdette and Sharon Neffenger. She worked for many years in the restaurant industry, Target, and lastly as a home health aide. Shawn was an active member of Maiden Lane Church of God. She is survived by her siblings, Janine (Kenneth) Yeary, James (Sonja) Mills, and Deidra Egger; uncles: Donald B. Schmitt and Thomas Schmitt, as well as her aunt, Sheryl (Joseph) Provens. Shawn is preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Beverly Burdette; her mother and her brother, Scott Mills. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Maiden Lane Church of God beginning at 6:00 p.m. family and friends are invited to a visitation prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Maiden Lane Church of God in Shawn's honor. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center.
