Bonnie Kay Furay

FURAY, Bonnie Kay age 77 of Springfield passed away unexpectedly at Riverside Hospital on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. She was born on July 10, 1942 to the late Arthur and Lettie (Osborne) Mitchell in Dayton, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wallace Furay in 1999 and her twin brother, Donald Mitchell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Theresa (Bret Jones) Brown-Jones, Jeffrey (Cindy) Rothert, and Jennifer (Chad) Sowards; grandchildren: Erica (Marwan) Sadiq, Ashton (Caroline) Brown, Sean (Jacqueline) Rothert, Jenna Sowards, and Dane Sowards; great-grandchildren: Asher, Lilah, Joseline, Jude, Noah and Whitleigh. She is also survived by her brother, Michael (Carolyn) Mitchell; sisters: Rosemary (Harold) Yoder and Veronica Mitchell; sister-in-law, Sue Mitchell; special family members, Edward and Mina Sucher as well as their daughters, Barb and Bev. Bonnie was a breast cancer survivor since 2012. There wasn't an animal she didn't love and thoroughly enjoyed bowling. Bonnie will be deeply missed by those who knew her. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with her service beginning at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions be made to the Susan G.
