Bruce Alan Cooper

February 25, 1973 — April 2, 2023

Bruce A. Cooper, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Bruce was born on February 25, 1973 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Robert Cooper Sr. and Brenda (Sanders).

Bruce is survived by his wife, Kelly (Miller) Cooper; children, Cody (Lizzie) Cooper, Kyle (Cortnei) Cooper, Katy Cooper and Cory Cooper; his mother, Brenda (James) Leach; grandchildren, Rilei, Gabei and Chloei; sisters, Missy (Chuck) Fultz and Terry Caupp; sister-in-law, Tessa Cooper; brothers-in-law, Tim Sr. (Angel) Bird, Terry (Kim) Miller and Steve Miller; mother-in-law, Joyce Oswald; special friend, Kendal Mitchell of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cooper, Sr. and brothers, Robert Cooper, Jr.

Bruce traveled across the country for 28 years doing what he loved, driving a semi-truck. He was usually the life of the party and enjoyed playing pool, drinking Bud-Light, and if he had the chance, singing karaoke. He was a cowboy at heart and typically always had his boots on with his cowboy hat or a favorite ballcap and enjoyed sitting around making people laugh. He was a very giving man that no matter his feelings for you, if you were in need, he was always available to help and lend a hand. While his hands were hard working and rough, Bruce had a gentle and soft heart that will always be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. Condolences may be expressed to his family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
