Calliope Raelynn Baker

Calliope Raelynn Baker, a radiant light in our lives, was born on December 4, 2024, in Beavercreek, Ohio. This precious soul, who filled our hearts with joy and laughter, left this world on May 12, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio, leaving behind an immeasurable void.

Though her time with us was far too brief, Calliope had a remarkable impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the happiest of babies, always beaming with smiles and filling the air with her delightful giggles. Her innocent joy was a beautiful reminder of the simple pleasures in life, and her spirit will forever be cherished in the memories of those who loved her deeply.

Calliope was surrounded by an adoring family that will forever treasure every moment spent with her. She is profoundly loved by her mother, Faith Ellen (Crowell) Baker and her father, Frank Baker. She will also be forever remembered by her big brother, Ashor Baker, who shared a special bond with her that only big brothers can.

In addition to her immediate family, Calliope was embraced by her loving grandparents, James (Sonja) Mills and Gary (Deb) Baker. Their hearts swell with fond memories of their beautiful granddaughter, whose giggles echoed in their homes.

Calliope was welcomed in Heaven with open arms by her uncle, Jeromey Faulkner, and her great-grandparents, Chat and Barb Turner, as well as her great-grandfather, Gary Crowell, and her great aunt, Jan. Though she is now safe and free among her family, we feel the sting of her absence keenly, as she leaves behind hearts forever changed by her fleeting presence.

To honor this precious angel and the bright light she shined, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
