Cheryl, 78, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 25 in the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, OH.
She was born on August 8, 1947 to Glenn and Pauline (Wilt) George. A 1965 graduate of Greenview HS, Jamestown, OH. She worked for over 25 years with Mercy Medical, Springfield, OH before retiring in 1999. Her devotion to sewing radiated in the countless outfits and pajamas she lovingly crafted with affection for her grandchildren during their youthful years. Creating something for others was her true calling.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 59 years, James F. Kimley of South Charleston, and son, Kelley J. (Kirsten) Kelley, South Charleston. Grandchildren; Levi Kimley of South Charleston and Lea Kimley of Plain City. Brothers, Glenn Jr. George of Centerville, and Ronald (Angie) George of Xenia. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn (Pauline) George, Jamestown and in-laws, Frank (Katherine) Kimley, South Charleston.
A celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the Ohio Masonic Home Alzheimer's Unit, Springfield, OH in Cheryl's honor.
