Christopher A. Taylor

Christopher Alan Taylor, 62, passed away in his sleep September 4, 2025. He was born March 25, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of David L. Taylor and Shirley A. (Ricketts) Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, David L Taylor. He is survived by his mother, Shirley, sister Pamela Rose Lantz, brothers; Miles (Terrie) Cosner, David Taylor, and Jonathan (Renay) Taylor, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many grand ones. He is also survived by his faithful dog, Bentley, who was constantly by his side.

Chris had an infectious personality and was a joy to be with. He spent most of his life in Texas where he most recently managed an apartment complex. He also had a love of entertaining and had various entertainment businesses throughout his life. He loved to cook, have fun, and take Bentley for walks. He will be missed by all his family, friends, co-workers and everyone that knew him.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 12:00-1:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Garden.
