Cynthia Davidson

Cynthia “Cindy” (Rentas) Davidson, age 78, passed away October 14, 2025. She was born August 6, 1947 to the late William and Alice Rentas. Along with her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Michael “Mike” Rentas. She is survived by her loving son, Luke Lighthiser.

Cynthia dedicated her life to education and the nurturing of young minds, working tirelessly for Temple Christian School. Her career spanned many years, during which she became a guiding light for countless students. Cynthia’s passion for teaching was fueled by her deep love for children. A devout Christian, Cynthia’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her faith guided her through challenges and inspired everyone around her, helping them to feel the strength and warmth of her love. A loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend- she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love her.
