KELLIS, Daniel E. age 80 of Springfield, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He passed surrounded by his loving family and went straight into the arms of Jesus. He was born on August 27, 1941 to the late Damon and Dorma (Frost) Kellis in Greenfield, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Kellis and sister, Delores Hill. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Rosemary (Eubanks) Kellis; children: Tonya Fields, Greg (Missy) Kellis, Heidi (Shawn) Congleton and Holly (Todd) Staples; grandchildren: Courtney (Brandon) Sherrock, Paige (Cody) Combs, Hannah (Shane) Snyder, Morgan (Kade) McCammon, Haley Fields, Brooklynn Staples, Jordan Congleton, Hadlea Cydrus, Brooklyn Congleton, Brailee Staples, and Kinsleigh Staples; great-grandchildren: Cameron, Landon, Eli, Carson, Myah, Penelope, Kalee, and Colton. Daniel also is survived by his brother-in-law and best friend, Ronald Mick, AKA Tonto & the Lone Ranger as well as his dear friend, Jim Koster. Daniel served his country in the United States Army upon graduating high school and worked the next 34 years at the Cascade Corporation. He loved the Lord, was very active in his church High Street Nazarene and was quite the Prayer Warrior. Daniel would do anything for anyone, including buying McDonald's for any homeless person he met along his way. He enjoyed his time traveling with his wife, going to auctions but more than anything, Daniel adored his family. He was a dedicated husband, loving dad and papaw and will be sadly missed by all that knew him. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at High Street Nazarene from 11:00 a.m. until his celebration of his life beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating.
