Debra Mae Dinnen, passed away peacefully in her home on April 11, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Debra dedicated many years of her life to her career as a software specialist at MVECA, where she was known as a valuable and trusted employee. Those who knew Debra remember her as a good Christian lady and a wonderful mom. She loved spending time with her family and was deeply loved by everyone close to her. Singing and dancing brought her joy, and her warm spirit touched the lives of many.
Debra was a devoted wife to Darrell Dinnen, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters, Emily (Tyler) Ayers and Hannah Dinnen, and her sister, Brenda (Dale) Cox. She also leaves behind her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Vickie Young, Amy (Doug) Hobbs, and Dan (Bridget) Dinnen; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with many close friends who cherished her friendship.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jo Anne (Slagle) Young, her daughter Allison Dinnen, and her brother Bill Young.
Debra's life was one filled with love, faith, and dedication. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Fireman's Clubhouse, 703 N. Bird Rd. Springfield, Ohio from 2PM-6PM. She will privately be laid to rest at Clifton Cemetery.
