Diana Jean Crabtree Tagg, 55, of Enon, Ohio passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Born to David and Donna Crabtree on July 24, 1968, in Springfield, Ohio.

 In her life, Diana pursued many passions. With her most rewarding dedication, healthcare, at the forefront of her endeavors. Starting nursing school in the fall of 1986 at Wright State University, allowed Diana to further her insatiable desire to work towards the betterment of others. She later went on to pursue a master’s degree in nursing through the same institution. Professionally, she melded two of her greatest passions: healthcare and our veterans. For 19 years, she worked fervently at the Dayton VA Medical Center as a dermatology nurse practitioner.

 In her private life, she tended to her greatest joys, her family and friends. She married James Tagg in April of 1999, and they spent 25 beautiful years together that were full of love, memories, laughs, and adventure. They shared two children, Jessica and Sarah. As a family, they loved to visit museums, try new restaurants, cook, and go shopping together.

 She was preceded in death by grandparents, Rev. Samuel and Georgia “Jenny” Crabtree, John and Opal Pertuset, Uncle Tom Crabtree, Cousin Sherri Crabtree, and Jennifer Cremeans. She is survived by her husband, James Tagg, daughters Jessica and Sarah Tagg, and stepson Stephen O’Donnell. As well as parents, David and Donna Crabtree, sister Debbie Crabtree, in-laws James (Elinor) Tagg, sister-in-law Jackeline Tagg, nephews Joshua and Donovan Weng, Aunt Hope (Leonard) Johnson, and Aunt Carolyn (Lee) Cremeans. She was also survived by cousins, Jason, Ben, Craig (Jennifer), Mike (Jenalle), Jeff, Cindy, Samantha, Abby, Megan, Derek, Breana, Kaleb (Jazmin), Kyah, Rylee, and Kylee. Along with close friends, Tracy (Ed) Lemaster and Donna Christman.

 In her life she touched countless acquaintances, friends, co-workers, and patients.

A visitation will be held on April 10, 2024 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center between the hours of 5 and 7pm. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans or YWCA of Dayton, Ohio.
