Donald Eugene Wilt, Sr.

Donald Eugene Wilt, Sr., age 87, passed away on February 17, 2026, in his residence. He was born May 2, 1938, in Springfield, Ohio, a son of Sylvia (Hill) and Charles H. Wilt, Sr.

Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran who proudly served his country for 20 years. He later worked at Price Brothers Cement Company for 17 years an also at the Panasonic Company in Troy, OH for 11 years and finally 17 years as a VIP at the Indian Lake State Park in Lakeview, OH. He enjoyed camping, fishing, square dancing and most of all spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Lucille (Myers) Wilt whom he married on September 5, 1956. He also leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Vickie Cantrell, Donald Eugene Wilt, Jr. and Rosalind (Chad) Hafer; grandchildren, Renea, Jonathan, Nathan, Brandon, Amber, Colt, Taylor, Lacy, Brian and Elizabeth and several other great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Charles H. Wilt, Sr.; a daughter, Michelle Lea Wilt; sisters, Eva Jane Yowler and Lois Roberts and a brother, Charles H. Wilt, Jr.

Visitation will be at 11:30-12:00 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel followed by funeral services at 12:00PM. Militay honors will be presented by the U.S. Navy.
