Donna C. McCracken

Donna Carole McCracken, 72, of Springfield, Ohio passed away on April 27,2025. She was born on September 19,1952 in Springfield, to her parents Woodrow and Gladys Dixon. She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving Mamaw, aunt and faithful servant of God. Her life was a reflection of love, warmth and faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Marc Steven and 8 siblings. Survivors include her husband James McCracken, Son Rusty (Jennifer) McCracken, daughter Nikki Hart, daughter-in-law Brenda McCracken, grandchildren Mallorie, Nicollette, Michael, Logan, Parker, Cayden, Ryan (Mikaela), Josh, Aaron (Brandilyn), and Lyndsay (DaVaughn). Bonus daughters are Tori Clark and Sara Davis.

She found joy in the simple acts of caring for her family and nothing brought her more happiness than cooking meals for her loved ones especially during the holidays. She loved when her home was filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking and the sounds of laughter and togetherness. She was truly a great cook, known for making everyone feel welcome and well fed at her table.

She was a woman of faith, who loved the Lord and lived her life with compassion and strength. Her family was the heart of her world and she poured love into every moment spent with them. She cherished her lifelong friends Cindy Fisher, Janet Tackett, Debbie Kirk and cousin Linda Midkiff.

Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of kindness, devotion, and love will live on in the lives of those she touched. Her memory will be treasured always by her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 3:00-5:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
