Doreen Marie Rowland

Doreen Marie Rowland, age 69, of Springfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 28, 2026. She was born on August 4, 1957, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Eleanor (Taddy) Mosketti. 

Doreen was a proud Italian woman with a larger-than-life spirit and a heart that belonged to her family. Above all else, she loved her children and grandchildren deeply, and they were the greatest joy of her life.She knew how to enjoy life. She loved music, she loved to dance, and she brought an energy with her that could fill a room. She gave her family countless memories filled with laughter, love, music, and moments that will never be forgotten.Although her family will miss her more than words could ever express, they will carry her with them always—in every family gathering, every familiar song, every story told, and every moment that makes them want to get up and dance. Her love, her strength, and her unforgettable spirit will live on through her children, her grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Kenneth J. Rowland; children, Paul Rowland, Amber (Kayla) Rowland, Kristopher (Tabitha) Rowland and Nichole Rowland; grandchildren, Shawn Rowland, Zachary Rowland, Jayden Rowland, Travis Rowland, Alivia Crowe, Autum Rowland, Bailey Rowland, Kora Rowland, Liam Crowe, Rush Rowland and Logan Crowe; brother, Rudolph (Diane) Mosketti, Jr.; niece, Cara Leaderer; and several more extended family members. 

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses for her family or to St. Jude's Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
