Dr. Mahmoud Said Saber, 82, of Yellow Springs, passed away January 24, 2021 at the Preserve at Beavercreek Memory Care Home. He was born on January 1, 1939, in Cairo, Egypt, the son of the late Said and Fathia (El Melehy) Saber. Dr. Saber is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Peggy (Lenahan) Saber; sons, Hatem (Sarah) Saber, Omar (Yasmin) Saber and Sammy (Dorothee) Saber; grandchildren, Nada, Yousef, Salma, Youssef, Amandine and Felix; brother, Mohsen; and sisters, Mona and Maha. Dr. Saber practiced anesthesia in Terre Haute, Indiana and dedicated his life to medicine. He loved relaxing by the ocean, playing tennis and listening to Arabic music. Burial was held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to his family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
