Edna Lee Hatfield, a devoted mother, beloved sister, and cherished matriarch born on August 15, 1938, in Kentucky, peacefully passed away on March 8, 2026, at Soin Medical Center. Her journey through life was marked by a deep devotion to her family and an unwavering strength in her faith, which guided her through every moment.

Edna’s heart belonged entirely to her family — they were her whole world. She was blessed to fall in love three times, sharing her life with her late husbands John Wheatley, Corbie Johnson, and Carl Hatfield. Her love and warmth extended through generations, touching all who knew her.

A lover of reading, traveling, and camping, Edna treasured the simple joys of spending time with those she held dear. Her vibrant spirit and kindness left an enduring impression on her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and close family members.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons John (Tina) Wheatley IV, Kevin (Elaine) Wheatley, and Tim (Kim) Wheatley; her daughter Faith Harrold, who stood faithfully by her side as she passed; her brothers Jack (Anna) Moore, David Moore, and Eddie Moore; as well as numerous grandchildren including Shawn, Shannon, Tom, John V, Rebecca, Patrick, Stephanie, and Tiffany, in addition to nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.

Edna was preceded in death by her loving parents Cecil (Shirley) Moore and Gladys (Barker) Moore, whose memories lived on in her gentle strength.
