Faye Eileen (Ogg) Weaver, 95, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026. Faye was born in Moorefield Township, Clark County, Ohio on April 26, 1930 to Clyde and Helen May (Cushman) Ogg. She graduated from New Moorefield High in 1948. Faye married G. Richard (Dick) Weaver on March 7, 1952. He preceded her in death February 6, 2008. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1965.
Faye grew up on a farm and retained her love of the farm life as a farmer’s wife. She drove a school bus for Clark County Schools for 13 years. Faye lived a life defined by dedication to hard work, centered around family, home and appreciation for rural life. She was an avid and accomplished seamstress and quilter and particularly enjoyed gardening and jigsaw puzzlesamong other interests. She found her greatest joy in her family. Her passion was caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Faye is survived by two sons Doug (Ewa) Weaver and Steve (Rhonda) Weaver; five grandchildren Chad Weaver, Kurt (Sherah) Weaver, Kara (Kyle) Turnbull, Jason (Sara) Weaver and Kristen (Josh) Barclay; and nine great-grandchildren Grant, Gage and Georgia Weaver, Kinsley Weaver, Thomas Turnbull, Ethan and Sophia Weaver, and Eli and Jake Barclay. All of whom she took immense pride in and demonstrated unwaveringdedication to.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, G. Richard (Dick) Weaver; Her parents; a brother Robert (Bobby) Ogg, and two sisters Ruth Ogg King and Alice Ogg Otstot.
Memorial services and celebration of her life and legacy will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center 2425 N. Limestone St. Springfield, OH. Reverand Bruce Crabtree of New Castle, IN will be performing the services. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral is at 2:00 p.m. with graveside ceremony immediately following. Family and friends are invited to return to Jackson Lytle and Lewis to share a meal following burial.
