Gail B. Schultheis

Gail Bernice Schultheis, age 92 of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully October 18, 2026 in Henderson, NV. She was born May 7, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio.

Gail worked for the Dayton International Airport with TSA and Peffley Ford for many years. Beyond her professional endeavors, Gail enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cakes and pies. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always delighted to attend family gatherings and host Christmas Eve at her house. Gail also looked forward to her lunches with her Randolph High School classmates.

Gail is survived by her children, Joe and his partner Sandy, Doug and his wife Susan, and Teresa, along with 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and special friends: Lisa Whitacre and Treva Bashore. Gail is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, Ernest ‘Ernie’ Schultheis, her mother and step-father, Mary (Deshong) and Ward Downs, and son-in-law, Marvis Walton Sr.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield.
