Hanna Ruth Moore, 75, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away, Friday, August 15, 2025. She was born November 5, 1949, in Waverly, Ohio, a daughter of Loretta (Claytor) Cockrell and was raised by her loving grandparents, Wayne and Martha Claytor.
Hanna worked full-time up to age 75. She retired 3 times but always returned to work because she enjoyed her co-workers and loved to be in the company of people. Her hobbies included gambling and …Gambling.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Moore; children, Russell E. (Christa) Hensley, Jr., William M. (Melanie)Moore, Jr., Jeffrey (Ayne) Moore and Teresa (Ron) Osborne; grandchildren, Jennifer (Justen) Sharp, Justin (Wislande) Hensley, Brooke (Rob) Bluma, Josh Osborne, Hanna Hensley, Amanda (Dave) Spillman and Aaren Moore; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay (Charlie) Smith, Kathy Mendenhall, Jeanie (David) Holbrook and Charlene Ewers; aunts, Rose Bailey and Margaret McCombs; uncle, Raymond Claytor and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta (Claytor)Cockrell, a son, Michael Wayne Hensley, grandson, Michael Wayne Hensley, Jr. and brothers, Jimmy Cockrell and William Cockrell.
Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, 2425 N. Limestone Street, Springfield, OH where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2025, followed by entombment at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum.
Please join the family following the entombment, in a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 20 at the VFW located at 1237 E. Main Street in Springfield.
