Heather Marie Loggins, a beacon of light and unwavering positivity, passed away on June 11, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on July 1, 1984, in Coshocton, Ohio, Heather's life was a testament to resilience, love, and an infectious joy that touched everyone she met.
A 2003 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School, Heather embraced life with a spirit that was impossible to overlook. Despite facing numerous health struggles and undergoing several surgeries, she always maintained a happy disposition and a focus not on her own challenges but on the well-being of those around her. Her proudest accomplishment was her courage in overcoming the odds at every turn, inspiring all who knew her.
Heather’s happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, cherishing simple outings and the everyday joys that brought her peace and fulfillment. Her love for country music, especially the songs of Luke Bryan, provided comfort and rhythm to her days, and she found profound joy in staying connected to loved ones. Her phone was more than a device; it was her lifeline to the people she cared about deeply. She had a remarkable talent for remembering birthdays and personal details about those she loved, demonstrating a care that went far beyond words.
Her parents, Steve E. and Elizabeth M. (Guilliams) Loggins, along with her siblings, Kimberly (Randy) Dixon, Michael Loggins, and late brother Justin's girlfriend, Michelle Heath, survive her. She was surrounded by the enduring love of nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Ally, Adrianna, Anthony, Madison, Mackenzie, and Aiden. She was also cherished by aunts and uncles, Juanita Hardy, Marcella (Jim) Wade, Ray Lindsey, Alice Guilliams, Harriett Guilliams, and Harold Guilliams, Jr., her best friend, Amy Marshall, together with numerous cousins and countless friends whose lives Heather enriched.
Heather was preceded in death by her brother, Justin Loggins and grandparents, Harold and Harriett Guilliams, and Russella and Robert Loggins, who no doubt welcomed her with open arms.
Known for her radiant smile and her endlessly positive outlook, Heather’s presence was a gift. Just as her Facebook profile beautifully states, “Butterflies appear when angels are near,” so when a butterfly graces your sight, think of Heather. Picture her looking down with a tender smile, watching over those she loved.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Heather’s life will be held on June 20, 2026 from 12:00-2:00p.m. at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, located at 2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, Ohio. Funeral service will begin at 2:00p.m. Condolences may be expressed to her family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
