James “Jim” Phillip Mosier, age 77 of South Charleston, Ohio passed away July 16, 2026. He was born April 3, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late William and Charlotte (Parks) Mosier. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Patti (Fisher) Mosier, daughter, Hillary (Tom) Pamer, grandson, Joshua Pamer, sister, Charlotte Miller, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and special friends, Jerry Weller, Miqaela Weller, and Ciera Loper. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers; Ken, Bob, Douglas, and George Mosier.
Jim found joy in a career that combined his love of music and connecting with others. He began as a radio DJ before transitioning into radio copyright, working for several stations throughout his 25 year career until his retirement from Kiss Country. Never one to stay idle, Jim later joined the team at Young's Jersey Dairy, where he worked for more than a decade, including five years as the manager of Utters & Putters. Away from work, Jim embraced life through his many passions. A talented painter and musician, he found creative expression in both art and music. He also loved spending time outdoors, whether running, hiking, enjoying nature, or caring for animals. His adventurous spirit, creativity, and appreciation for the simple beauty of the outdoors brought him lasting happiness and left a memorable impression on all who knew him.
