Jeanette Ann Evans

Jeanette Ann Evans, age 88 formerly of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully January 30, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 15, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Sine) Rankin. Jeanette is survived by her loving daughter, Vanessa (Jeff) Rice, granddaughters, Jessica Weaver and Jennifer Hartsock, and great-grandchildren, Boston and Benjamin Weaver. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Evans Jr., daughter, Lisa Evans, brother, Gene, and sister, Patsy.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love her.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
