Jill Lovica Kitchen

Jill Lovica Kitchen, 80, of South Vienna, OH, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born on August 16, 1945, in Dayton, OH, a daughter of Christine (Lewis) and Roger LeVan.

Jill graduated from Greenon High School and received an associate degree from Clark State Community College. In 1965 she married the love of her life, James Kitchen. Jill worked as an Elementary School Secretary for 37 years in the Northeastern Local School District, was a member of the Springfield Church of Christ and previously attended First Christian Church of Springfield for many years. She enjoyed walking, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Eric) Raines, Lori (Brian) Camp and Jody (Tom) Lambert; grandchildren, Zachary (Michaela) Raines, Caleb (Morgan) Raines, Halle (Ben) Franzen, Nathan Lambert, Adyson Camp, Owen Lambert, Trevor Camp, Noah Lambert and Alyza Camp; great grandchildren, Emmett Raines, Savannah Raines, Bentlee Raines, Jace Raines, Emerson Raines, James Franzen, Marlie Franzen, and Griffin Franzen; brother, Jack (Brenda) LeVan; brothers-in-law, Donald Kitchen, John Steberl and Kenny Whiting; sister-in-law, Carolyn Kitchen and a loving childhood friend, Jennifer Hawks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kitchen and her parents, Christine and Roger LeVan.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Springfield Church of Christ, 1620 Buck Creek Lane, Springfield, OH 45502 where funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, October 17, 2025. Burial Will Follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in memory of Jill L. Kitchen to the Springfield Church of Christ.
