Kara Olivia Martin, age 22 of Springfield, Ohio left this world on September 17, 2025. Born on March 1, 2003, she filled every day of her life with laughter, love, and light. Kara is deeply missed by her loving mother, Tiffany Hayner, and her cherished sisters; MaKayla (Quincy Stillgess Jr.) Martin, Jenna (Scottie Robinson) Martin, Hailey (Thomas Neighbors Jr.) Martin, Mya (Damaya Clark) Martin, and Kirsten Martin. Her joy was magnified by her nieces, Alanna Stillgess, MaKellyn Martin, Ava'lynn Neighbors, and her nephew, Braxton Neighbors.
Kara's spirit is kept alive by her maternal grandparents, Tammy and DeWayne Sutton, her paternal grandfather, David A. Martin, aunt, Megan (Zach) Birkolz, as well as uncles, Brandon (Victoria) Sutton and Cole (Arica) Sutton, alongside many dear cousins. She joins her beloved father, David L. Martin; her paternal grandmother, Janet Martin; her aunt, Kimberly Martin, and great-grandparents, Leroy and Hazel Hayner in eternal peace.
Kara was a luminous soul-- a true free spirit characterized by her artistic flair and kindhearted nature. She has a passion for music and found joy in singing, crafting poetry, and creating art. Her generous heart was evident as she selflessly helped others, embodying kindness in everything she did. Kara would often share her infectious laughter and bright energy, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
An eccentric personality, Kara embraced her uniqueness with colorful hairstyles, expressive tattoos, and eye-catching piercings, making a statement wherever she went. Her remarkable wisdom had a way of making those around her feel seen and valued; she was the embodiment of courage, moving through life without fear.
Kara cherished moments spent with her family, especially her mom, sisters, nieces and nephews, and her beloved fur baby, Lotta. Her spirit will forever dance on in the hearts of all those she touched, and though she may no longer be with us, her love and legacy will remain eternally cherished. Kara was truly one of a kind, and the world is a little dimmer without her shining light. She will be missed beyond words.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10:00-12:00PM at the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield.
