Linda Lou Smith

Linda Lou Smith, age 73 formerly of Cedarville, passed away December 7, 2025 in Hillsboro, Ohio. She was born May 22, 1952 in Illinois to the late Reco Luther and Goldie (Passmore) Robertson. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Eric Smith, children, Erika (Dan) Young, Christina (Daniel) Nogueira, and Brendon (Sarah) Smith, grandchildren: Ethan, Gracie, Brooke, Catie, Reagan, Savannah, Joey, Patience, Jaxon, Preston, Peyton, Miranda, Kati-Lou, and Mariah, several great-grandchildren, sister, Leona, and brother, JD. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tom, Jerry, and Patricia Sue.

Linda worked at the nursery school for many years as well as at Kinder Care. She had a deep passion for teaching and helping children. Her greatest joy was her family. 55 years ago she was married to the love of her life, Gregory Eric Smith by Rev. Broughton at the Grace Baptist Church. She and Gregory enjoy doing many things together, especially going to their drive-ins. Linda also enjoyed baking and shopping. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love her.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville. Burial to follow at Massie Creek Cemetery.
