Megan Marie Jones

Megan Marie Jones, a loving soul who brought joy and warmth to all who knew her, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio. Born on August 19, 1980, Megan devoted her life to her beloved husband, David William Jones II, and their cherished children: Robbie (Carrie) Lankford, Gage Jones, Davey (Kendal) Jones, and Destiny Jones. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Porter, Presley, Baby J, Liam, and a granddaughter on the way, Rosealea Marie, who will carry forward the light she so generously shared.

Megan worked at Pit Stop Pizza and Drive Thru, where her infectious spirit left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. She had a remarkable ability to find joy in the little things and loved capturing those moments through photography, creating lasting memories for her family. A passionate supporter of their favorite teams, she cheered on Patrick Mahomes with spirited enthusiasm. She loved all things baby Yoda. Additionally, she enjoyed cozy evenings spent playing video games and watching movies with David, sharing laughter and love in each moment together.

Megan's circle of love extended to her dear friends Nicole, Stacy, and Brandy, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She is also survived by her brothers, Jesse LeMaster and Adrian (Heather) Kueker, her sister-in-law Candy (Tarick) Cunningham, her sister-in-law Amie (Jay) Gulbranson, her mother-in-law Sylvia Glasser, and her father-in-law David William Jones, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family -- all of whom felt the warmth of her kind heart.

Although Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Nan Ferryman, and her maternal grandparents, the love she instilled in her family remains profound, echoing her spirit in every gathering, every holiday, and every cherished memory they hold dear.

Megan’s dedication to her family and friends, her passion for life, and her radiant smile will forever be remembered and missed. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to such a wonderful soul. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would be forever grateful if memorial donations would be made to the funeral home to offset the unexpected funeral services.
