Melody B. Kephart

KEPHART, Melody B. age 58 of South Charleston went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born on September 16, 1963 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Joseph and Pearl (Lute) Smith. In addition to her father, Melody is preceded in death by her brother, David Smith. She leaves behind her mother, Pearl; her husband of 33 years, Tim Kephart; children: Megan (Mark) Kephart and Tyler Kephart; grandchildren: Alaina Saunderson and Alek Saunderson. Melody is survived by her siblings: Sandy Blaine, Grace (Mark) Craycraft, Sheila Neace, Hazel Miller, Christine (Butch) Kohut, and Scott Smith; sister-in-law, Pat Battin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Melody was a woman of faith, she enjoyed reading a good book and spending time with her dogs. She was dedicated to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at INGLING WILLIAMS & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, South Charleston.
