FREDERICK, Michael A., age 74 of South Charleston, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 8, 1949 to the late Albert Frederick and Lois (Matney) Ingram in Springfield. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his siblings: Darlene, Phyllis and Cindy. He leaves behind his wife of nearly 29 years, Maureen (O'Grady) Frederick; Erma Frederick who raised Michael as her own; children: Jeanne, Suzanne, Sandra (Jay), Cecelia (Joe), and KayCee; grandchildren: Garrett, Lisa, Pia and Mikel as well as two great-grandchildren. Michael is also survived by his siblings: Brenda (Harry), Sharon, Roger (Ruth), Leroy (Barb), Debbie, and Teresa; brother-in-law, Patrick (Mary) and several nieces and nephews. Michael was a member of Restoration at Cedarville Church where he enjoyed attending Wednesday night Bible studies. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Michael was a self employed master mechanic in both Germany and California specializing in high end foreign cars. He also was a European champion race car driver. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Michael will be laid to rest in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside California. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Restoration at Cedarville Church. Condolences are forwarded to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
