Michael T. Mann

January 28, 1975 — March 13, 2026

South Charleston

Michael T. Mann, of South Charleston, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. Born on January 28, 1975, in Springfield, Ohio, Mike lived a life marked by dedication, resilience, and an unwavering spirit.

Mike graduated from Southeastern High School in 1993 and furthered his education at Lincoln Tech in Diesel Technology, sharpening the skills that would serve him so well in his career.

A lifelong and devoted employee of his family’s business, H W Mann and Sons Hauling Service, Mike was truly a jack of all trades. His exceptional problem-solving skills made him invaluable to the company, where many others sought his guidance and direction. There was nothing he couldn’t do and no issue he could not fix. His commitment to the business was evident in every task he undertook, making him an irreplaceable pillar within the organization.

Beyond his professional life, Mike had an incredible sense of humor and a zest for living life to its fullest. He faced every challenge, including his health battles, with remarkable courage and positivity, often keeping spirits high with his jokes and radiant smile, even during the most difficult times.

He found great joy in cooking and grilling, and cherished moments spent at his children’s sporting events and family cookouts. The Fourth of July was one of his favorite celebrations, and he eagerly anticipated this year’s party to be bigger and better than ever. Mike had a creative side as well, never leaving spare parts unused and crafting knickknacks and little animals that brought smiles to the faces of those around him. His daily essentials—coffee, Red Bull, and dip—were well known to friends and family alike.

Above all, Mike’s heart belonged to his family. The love he held for his children and grandchildren was unmatched, and his face would light up whenever any of them entered the room. A special testament to his compassionate nature was the deep bond he formed with his youngest daughter, Payton, who came into his life at the age of two. Mike embraced her as his own, nurturing their father-daughter relationship with profound love and dedication.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his wife of nine years, Jenny Mann; his parents, Bill and Kim Mann; his children, Sarah (Mike) Inskeep, Kenzie Mann (Caiden Stelzer), Kolton Mann, and Payton Fraley; and his cherished grandchildren, Brynnlee, Bowmann, and Brexlynn Inskeep. He is also survived by his brother, Scott (Stephanie) Mann; nieces and nephews, Reese, Leland, and Samantha Mann, along with Cooper and Landon Best; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Robbie Rinker; sister-in-law, Mandy (Aaron) Perry; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman and Katherine Mann and William and Sibyl Lloyd; and his special cousin, Jason Hess.
