Nathanial Mark Thompson, age 15 of Springfield, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 3, 2025. He was born January 11, 2010 in Springfield, Ohio to John Thompson and Texana Lewis. Nathanial is survived by his loving mother and father, Texana Lewis and John Thompson, 6 month old son, NJ, step-mother, Amanda, step-father, Cody, sisters, Amilleoana and Mazzalyn, paternal grandmother, Rebecca, maternal grandfather, Dwayne (Marcie), best-friends, Joey, Riley, and Hazel, and many other close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Yolanda.
Nathanial found exhilaration in the thrill of adventure. He embraced hobbies that stirred the soul, most notably riding dirt bikes, go-carts—any activity that involved the roar of a motor. These pastimes were more than mere interests; they were extensions of his lively personality and an outlet for his boundless energy. Nathanial lived life to the fullest, embodying the spirit of adventure. His work in tree service exemplified his hard-working nature and dedication to helping others. Nathanial's caring demeanor and willingness to lend a hand were hallmarks of his character. He was always ready to make someone’s day a little brighter.
Though his time with us was far too brief, the legacy of Nathanial's infectious laughter, eagerness to help, and enthusiasm for life will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the honor to know and love him. He brought sunshine into the lives of everyone he encountered.
