She attended Cedarville College from 1972-1976 where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Following graduation, Mike and Patty were married on August 6th at Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville, Ohio. At home, Patty continued to train, advocate for, and pour every ounce of her energy into her children and modeled service before self to everyone she met. As her children began to head off to college, Patty entered a new phase of ministry caring for a set of twin brothers who were suffering from Alzheimer’s and providing respite care for their families. Once grandchildren began arriving, Patty poured her heart, time, and all of her energy into loving and teaching each one of them. In 2017, Mike and Patty moved back to Cedarville, Ohio to spend their retirement years enjoying time spent visiting with family and friends and caring for both their mothers.
