Paul G. Emmons

Paul G. “Head” “Unk” Emmons, age 67 of Springfield, Ohio passed away September 20, 2026. He was born November 22, 1958 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Paul Eugene and Alma (Knott) Emmons. Paul is survived by his nieces; Brandi (William) Ray, Heather (Brian) Shelton, and Mandy (Jerod) Emmons, siblings; Debra Ray, Fred (Kim) Emmons, and Mamie Emmons, loving companion, Teresa, like grandchildren: Caleb, Curtis, Cheyanna, and Alyssa, special cousins: Mary Ellen and Bobby Martin, childhood best friend, Al Horny, and several great nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Dwayne Emmons, nephew, Randy Emmons, and step-son, Rodney Picolo.

From an early age Paul went to work and devoted his life to being a hard worker. He started out working on the family farm, then spent over 30 years at Heroux-Devtek until his retirement, formerly known as Eagle Tool. Paul was an avid NASCAR and LA Rams football fan. He enjoyed cars, especially anything Ford and spent many hours ‘tinkering’ in his garage. Paul also enjoyed riding his motorcycles. A man loved by all, Paul never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery and Arboretum.
