It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Payton Dallas Anderson, affectionately known as Dallas, who left this world too soon on May 5, 2025, in Midway, Ohio. Born on February 7, 2000, in Columbus, Ohio, Dallas grew into a remarkable young man who embraced life with a vibrant spirit and an infectious smile.
Dallas was a proud graduate of Southeastern High School, class of 2018, and pursued education at CTC, where he honed his skills in welding. From his passion for tinkering with cars to his dedication to working on his beloved truck, you could always find him working on something outside the house. He had an unwavering love for the outdoors, often finding solace in fishing, camping, and playing music on his cherished guitar. The vintage cameras he collected were more than just artifacts; they were his conversation pieces, capturing moments and memories that will forever remain cherished by those who loved him.
Family meant everything to Dallas. He had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcome, as he truly never met a stranger. His bull-headed nature was always accompanied by a sense of fun, particularly when surrounded by his loved ones. He was the gentle soul who lit up the room with his laughter and warmth, or by grabbing his guitar and singing along for endless nights.
Dallas is survived by his loving mother, Kathy (Anthony) Pearson, and his step-mother, Kisha Orsini. He leaves behind his siblings—Brooklynn Skeens, Makenna Ashmore, Amree Anderson, Trenton Blankenship, and Coal Blankenship—each with their own cherished memories of time spent with their remarkable brother. He was a beloved grandson to Benjamin and Loretta Skeens, Elizabeth Anderson, and Shawn Castle, who will carry his memory forward in their hearts. Dallas deeply loved his girlfriend, Hannah McKeever, and leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who are mourning the loss of his vivacious spirit.
He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Anderson, his grandmother, Sharon Skeens, and his grandfather, Michael Anderson, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
A visitation for Dallas will be held on May 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ingling and Lewis Funeral Home in South Charleston, Ohio. His funeral service will follow on May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, allowing loved ones to gather and celebrate the incredible life he lived.
While our hearts ache for the absence of Dallas, we remember a life filled with love, laughter, and a bond that will endure forever. May his legacy live on in the joy he brought to others, reminding us to cherish every moment with those we hold dear. Condolences may be expressed to his family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
