Randy Eldon VanHorn

Randy E. VanHorn, 64, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Kings Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, KY. He was born on October 19, 1960, in Springfield, OH. He was preceded in death by his father Ray VanHorn; mother, Nellie Burchnell; sister, Bonita Sue Frataccia and Pauline VanHorn who raised him. He was an employee at Lowes in Springfield, OH for several years and also at Smithfield Foods in Grayson, KY, for 17 years. He is survived by his daughter Kaleigh Childers; son Kollin (Allie) VanHorn; three brothers Allen (Donna) VanHorn, Gary (Angie) VanHorn, and Paul (Karen) VanHorn; one sister Linda (Greg)Hollon; and several nieces and nephews. Private Family Services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:00PM in the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home, 2425 N. Limestone Street, Springfield, OH with visitation one hour prior to the time of service.
