Rhonda Mae DeHart of Portsmouth Ohio, born September 24, 1962 in Springfield, Ohio passed away surrounded by love and family. She was the cherished daughter of Charles DeHart and Nancy Ciavarella, and was also lovingly supported through life by her stepmother, Violet DeHart.
Rhonda's life was centered on kindness, creativity, and care for others. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Summer (Shawn) Anon and Autumn (Austin McClintic) Plew, and the proud grandmother to her beloved grandson, Aidan Anon. Special family and friends include her brother Tony (Angie) Blanton and sister Teri (John) Spires, her aunt Sharon Ogden, David Plew, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her family and friends were her greatest joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of immense love and laughter.
A passionate animal lover, Rhonda found companionship and comfort in her many dogs and cats over the years.
Her home was always open to animals in need, reflecting her compassionate spirit. She is going to be greatly missed by her steadfast companion Eden, her chihuahua who was always by her side.
Rhonda was deeply creative - she had a lifelong love of art, crafts, and music. Whether painting, drawing, creating handmade crafts, or listening to her favorite songs, she expressed herself through color, sound, and imagination.
Most notably were both elaborate paintings and drawings that often-included a world of whimsical fairies and moons. She also illustrated a self-published book for a college friend and illustrated a series of Olympic stamps.
Rhonda attended Shawnee State University where she studied forensic sculpting and reconstruction as well as Clark State College, pursuing her education with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
Those who knew Rhonda will remember her gentle heart, her vibrant creativity, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed, and for that she will be greatly missed.
A celebration will be held to honor her life, with details to be shared amongst family and friends at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center in Springfield, Ohio.
