Robert “Bob” Faria, age 92 of Springfield, Ohio passed away April 18, 2026. He was born April 18, 1934 in Massachusetts. Bob leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion and devoted caretaker, Karen Castle, Legends Golf Team at the Springfield Country Club, and many lifelong friends, especially Otto (Therese) Larson and Larry Spahr.

Bob faithfully served our nation in the United State Air Force for 21.5 years until his retirement. He also worked for over 30 years as the maintenance superintendent at the Springfield Marriott. An avid golfer, Bob was a dedicated member of the Springfield Country Club since 1980. Bob also had quite the green thumb and found great joy in gardening. His home won the City of Springfield Beautification Award in 2025. Other hobbies included faithfully following the Green Bay Packers, Alabama Crimson Tide, and doing modifications on his collection of classic cars. Bob was most affectionately known as “$2.00 Bob”, a name given to him for his hobby of giving out $2.00 bills to young children in town.
