Sally Rae Clingman

Sally Rae Clingman of Dayton, Ohio, age 70, died peacefully on August 20, 2024. She was the daughter of the late William L. and Marjorie L. Clingman who lived and worked in Springfield, Ohio. She is survived by: her brother, Steve; her sister-in-law, Carolyn; and her neice, Zoë Leigh Clingman of Ardmore, PA. After graduating from Ohio University, Sally pursued a career in social work as an advocate for vulnerable children and as a counselor in support of people who needed help. Friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate her life on Sunday, August 25 at JACKSON-LYTLE & LEWIS Life Celebration Center, 2425 North Limestone Street, Springfield, Ohio, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sally’s name may be made to Best Friends Animal Society Save or the ASPCA.
