Sandra Lee Holton, affectionately known as Sandi, left this world and into the arms of her Lord and Savior, on December 13, 2025, at the age of 82, in Springfield, Ohio. Born on February 9, 1943, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Sandi dedicated her life to caring for others. A graduate of Shawnee High School class of '61 and Community Hospital Nursing School class of '63, she spent 45 years as a geriatric nurse, touching countless lives with her compassion and dedication, particularly during her 20 years at Heartland of Springfield Nursing Home and several years at Ohio Masonic Home before retiring in 2008.
Sandi was the matriarch of her family, a cherished role she embraced with love and grace. She had a profound love for her siblings and all of her family, always making sure that everyone felt cared for and valued. A die-hard Cincinnati Reds baseball fan, she found joy not only in the game but in every moment spent by the pool basking in the sunshine or going shopping with a smile. Her genuine warmth and caring nature extended beyond her family, serving faithfully at the Fellowship Christian food pantry, where she touched the lives of many in her community.
She shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Eldon Holton. Together, they raised three loving children: Erich (Rebecca) Holton, Todd (Lynn) Holton, and Heather Holton. Sandi was also a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a delighted great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on through them.
Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jeanne (Smith) Siemon Sr., as well as her brother Keith Siemon, and sister, Vicki Webb of whom she cherished deeply. Among her surviving family are her siblings: Charles (LuAnn) Siemon Jr., Brian (Andrea) Siemon, Drew Siemon, Mark (Laura) Siemon, Lori Baker; her brother-in-law Kenneth Webb, and sister-in-law Beckie Siemon, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Sandi’s life will be celebrated on December 17, 2025, with a visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM, both taking place at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, located at 2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503.
