In Loving Memory of Stanley J. Eberly
Stanley J. Eberly, born September 9, 1940, in Steubenville, Ohio, lived a life defined by faith, service, and unwavering devotion to his family. A faithful servant of Christ and a devoted member of Crosspointe Church for over 40 years, he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness.
Stanley proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War and dedicated many years to supporting and serving others through the Springfield Police Academy. Wherever he served, he did so with integrity, humility, and compassion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Celeste Eberly and brothers James Cantrell, and Jim Brooks. He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joyce Eberly; his daughter, Heather Eberly; his grandson and adoptive son, Devon Jenkins, and Devon's wife, Ashlee; his cherished great-grandchildren, Zoey and Kenne Maxwell; his sisters, Darlene Cantrell, Judy Brooks, Carmen Perryman and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Though his earthly journey has ended, the faith he lived, the lives he touched, and the love he gave will continue to shine through all who knew him.
