Teesha Amber McConnahea

Teesha Amber McConnahea, age 40, passed away on March 16,2024 in Springfield, Ohio. She was born on August 11, 1983, the daughter of Chester and Christine (Shoffner) Wallace.

Teesha was known for her vibrant personality - she was a spitfire with a big smile and a contagious laugh that endeared her to all who knew her.  She had a longstanding career at Great Clips spanning two decades, Throughout her life, Teesha cherished spending time with her family. Her cat, Gremlin Myers, held a special place in her heart, and she shared a love for horror and paranormal movies with her daughters.

Despite battling cancer, Teesha remained strong and courageous until the end. She departed surrounded by loved ones who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

She is survived by James McConnahea, her devoted husband of 20 years; daughters, Ashtin (Carson) and Rylynn (Noah); her father, Chester; sister, Shiree Kuch; brother, Toby (Tina) Wallace; 8 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; Coral Bentley, "her favorite sister wife"; Amy and Danny McCoury, dear friends; as well as numerous work friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Wallace.

A visitation in memory of Teesha will be held on March 19, 2024 from 4-7p.m. at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center. In honor of Teesha's love for music, her family requests you wear your favorite band shirt to her visitation.
