Thomas Allen Mcnicol

McNICOL, Thomas A. of Springfield, Ohio passed from this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.  He was born on August 4, 1945 to the late Edward and Ethelwyn (Williams) McNicol in Springfield, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara McNicol. Mr. McNicol is survived by his brother, William (Karen) McNicol; nephew, Robert (Shelly) McNicol; nieces: Amy Dieckhoner and Suzanne (Shawn) Brace as well as great-nieces: Annika, Nina, and Allison and great-nephews: Will, Chase, and Mitchell. After graduation from Springfield North High School 1963, he enlisted in The United States Navy in 1965 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1969.  Mr. McNicol received his undergraduate degree and graduate degree from Antioch University and served on Antioch's Board of Trustees.  He was employed by Navistar International for forty years, retiring in 2005 as a Process Development Manager at Navistar's Process Evaluation Center. Mr. McNicol was dedicated to his faith and was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church. Visitation will be at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, 2425 North Limestone Street, Springfield, Ohio 45503 on Friday, September 2, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.  Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Father Larry Crowell officiating. Mr. McNicol will be laid to rest at Ferncliff Cemetery.  Memorial donations to Christ Episcopal Church or The Antioch University Mid-West Endowment Fund would be appreciated.
